Please never leave a burning candle unattended, care should be taken on deciding where to place your candle, this should never be near any flammable surfaces, including soft furnishings.
Always keep candles out of reach of small children and animals.
TO GET THE BEST FROM YOUR CANDLE
A candle should ideally be burned for no more than three hours at a time.
When your candle has cooled, the wick should be trimmed just above the wax level which ensures an even burn throughout.
As every candle is handmade and unique, changes in room temperatures can shrink the hand poured wax away from the glass container, this is perfectly normal and doesn't affect the burning of your candle in anyway.
Any excess wax should be gently wiped away from the candle glass to prevent any black residue building up, trimming your candle wick correctly will also help to prevent this.
If you love candles, I recommend investing in a wick trimmer, it really is a great little investment.
It enables you to trim your wicks to an ideal depth which keeps your candles in perfect condition every time you light one.
CANDLE GLASS RECYCLING
Once your candle has finished burning, to remove the wax heat your candle glass in an oven at a low temperature.
Any wax residue can be wiped away and the glass washed in soapy water.
I can exchange your glassware by refilling it with another lovely fragrance or once your glass is clean, it can be recycled along with other glass items, as can all of our natural packaging.
